With the Sports mode, the car instantly becomes aggressive- drops a gear, gains RPMs and the engine becomes vocal. I could notice the push back in the seat feel even with full load. The car waits longer before upshifting, but the FE takes a hit. Overall, this mode will keep the enthusiastic drivers well satisfied.

Carens gets a 1.5 NA petrol (6MT) and 1.4 turbo petrol (6MT & 7DCT), plus a 1.5 diesel (6MT & 6-speed TC AT). The XL6 third row is tougher to get into but the space there is also quite good. You can use these two as three-row cars. The Carens second row with the captain seats offers more adjustability with the armrests, sliding forward the seat or even the backrest. The seats offer good legroom and headroom with optimum thigh support as well.
